Our Story
Brooklyn Creator Market started as a single folding table outside a Gowanus coffee shop — and grew into a borough-wide celebration of the artists and makers who give our neighborhoods their character.
Our Mission
Since 2019, we’ve hosted markets, workshops, and pop-up events that give independent artists a place to sell their work and meet their neighbors face to face. What began as a handful of friends sharing a table has grown into a network of over 150 vendors and thousands of shoppers each season — but our mission hasn’t changed: to make it easier for Brooklyn’s makers to turn their craft into a livelihood, and to keep our neighborhoods full of handmade things.
What We Believe In
Community First
Every market is designed to feel like a neighborhood gathering, not just a shopping trip.
Support Local
Every vendor is an independent maker or small business based right here in Brooklyn.
Open to Everyone
Our markets and events are always free to attend, and welcoming to every neighbor.
The Team
Brooklyn Creator Market is run by a small team of neighbors who care deeply about supporting local makers.
